The wild dog pack denned again in the Northern wildlife concession near -19.77328, 23.32099.

The floodplain along the Main channel was markedly smaller in September 2025 than in September 2020; red lechwe counts fell every year.

Woodland along the western edge of the Community trust area was cleared for fields between the two scenes.

- Extend camera traps around the den.
- Increase patrols in the Community trust area (most snares).
- Compare the 2020 and 2025 habitat scenes inside each protected area.
